Anyone can write. To some it comes naturally. To others, the honed writing skills of an editor are a lifeline. It is not unusual for us to receive texts written by scientists or other professionals that are technically sound but that, stylistically, leave much to be desired.
Our editors will revise and amend texts, giving them a logical structure, rephrasing sentences and checking that the terminology, style and language used are appropriate for the reader. Naturally, they also make sure that the spelling and punctuation are spot-on. This editing or revision exercise brings readability up to the same high standard as the content.
